Rose Nygaard will be introducing monotype printmaking during this 3-Day Workshop. Monotype is a one-of-a-kind print that has been made by an image that has been painted on a metal, plastic or another flat, smooth surface. Transferring is made either by hand rubbing or a press. Some of the earliest were made around 1640. Rembrandt, Degas and Matisse all did monotypes. Join Rose to learn about the process and explore different materials to create one-of-a-kind monotypes of your own.

Join us for Open Studio every Friday afternoon! Bring your art & supplies and paint from 12:00pm-2:00pm. You’ll work alongside other artists in the community, create new friendships, and get great advice on your next masterpiece. There is no cost to attend and no need to make reservations.
