  • Daffodil Festival (PDF)
    • Booth: Chairman - Henry ‘Hurricane’ Thompson. Gloucester Master Gardeners work a booth at the Daffodil Festival in groups of two or more individuals. They are there primarily to answer gardening questions from the festival attendees. They offer for sale a number of plants hand-grown and donated by Gloucester Master Gardeners. They offer handouts from VT Extension Office concerning various topics ranging from grasses and woody plants to herbs and vegetables which are best suited for growing locally. They provide information on how members of the public community can become Gloucester Master Gardeners themselves. Lastly, they typically set up a small craft table for attending youth with a gardening theme, such as growing sunflowers, attracting butterflies and so forth.
