Historic Garden Week, entering its 76th season, is the oldest and largest statewide house and garden tour event in the country. Sponsored by the Garden Club of Virginia, forty-seven associate clubs across the Commonwealth present a rich mosaic of some of the country’s finest properties from the early 17th through the early 21st centuries at the peak of Virginia’s springtime color. Proceeds from the tour provide funding to restore historic public gardens and grounds throughout Virginia.

Meet history and tradition commingled with 21st century living as you enjoy Virginia Historic Garden Week in Gloucester , Va. The Garden Club of Gloucester invites you to visit the historic properties White Hall, a 17th century land grant plantation; The Barn at Warner Hall, a conversion of an 18th century barn at the ancestral home of George Washington; Five Gables, a Colonial Revival home with 3 sunrooms and 130 windows, every window having a view of the water. All three homes are in close proximity and White Hall and Five Gables are adjacent to each other via the Ware River.
