Welcome to the 2008 Paddle Jam Saturday, June 14, 2008 2007 Results Canoe and Kayak Races, Kid’s Sprint Relay and “Fun Paddle” * Proceeds to benefit Beaverdam Park * RACES: LONG COURSE (4.0 miles) SHORT COURSE (2.0 miles) CLASSES: C-1 = 1-person recreational canoe or “competition cruiser” canoe C-2 = 2-person recreational canoe only K-1 = 1-person plastic sea kayak or “other material” sea kayak K-2 = 2-person plastic sea kayak only C-1 & K-1 = Men, Women, Male Youth, Female Youth=under 16 C-2 & K-2 = Men, Women, Mixed (1 Male & 1 Female), Adult & Child, Male Youth, Female Youth, Mixed Youth COST: $15/person if received by 6/5/08 (includes t-shirt & sponsor gifts) $20/person if received any time after 6/5/08 (t-shirt & sponsor gifts while they last) YOUTH under 16 years old race for FREE! KID’S SPRINT RELAY (3 short loops) Canoes: C-2 Recreational Canoes Teams: Elementary Schools–3 pairs or 6 total paddlers=1 team Cost: FREE! FUN PADDLE: (Anywhere in anything with anyone!) Cost: $10/person if received by 6/5/08 (includes t-shirt & sponsor gift) $15/person received any time after 6/5/08 (t-shirt while they last) 4-PERSON SPRINT RACE: One-quarter mile loop course, open to everyone 4 paddlers in one recreational canoe! FREE!
