As genuine admirers of the daffodil and its
significant role in the industrial and cultural
heritage of Gloucester County, we wish to share the
basis of this admiration in an effort to draw others
into our company.
You will meet the men and women of Gloucester's past
who saw beauty and bounty in
the daffodil and turned that vision into a
prospering reality.
You will follow the cultural response of a
community proud of its accomplishments.
And, as you are reminded of the presence of
both in our county today, it is our hope that you
will join us as we preserve the past by celebrating
the present.
We are dedicated to the perpetual beautification of
Gloucester County, centered around
the daffodil, our adopted symbol of hope and
prosperity, that reminds us
each
spring of its simple yet inspiring nature.
