60th Annual Daffodil Show
sponsored by the
Garden Club of Gloucester,
accredited by the American Daffodil Society

2010  Show hours:
Saturday, March 27, 2 to 5 pm
Sunday, March 28, 12 to 4 pm

 Location: Page Middle School, 5628 George Washington Memorial Highway

Theme for 2010 Artistic Division is "Blooms in Flight,"
interpreting birds through flower arranging.

Theme of the Junior Artistic Division: "The Ugly Duckling"

What’s in the Show:

  • Horticulture exhibits of many varieties, a dazzling display of over 1,000 blooms
  • Artistic arrangements, 9 classes including a Men's Class
  • Horticultural, artistic and photography junior divisions for children
  • Educational horticulture
  • Display by Brent and Becky's Bulbs
  • Photography Contest

PRINTABLE DAFFODIL SHOW BROCHURE with Divisions, Rules, etc.  PDF format - you may print as many or as few pages as you like

The Show is open to all from novices to experts.  Help is available to novices in horticulture Friday 4 to 6.

2010 cost: No fee.  Donations or "green offering" accepted to help cover the costs of the show.  The Garden Club of Gloucester is  a non profit organization.

EXHIBITOR SET UP:

   Friday March 26, 3 to 9 pm

  • Cafeteria workroom is open for horticulture and photography exhibitors from 3 to 9 pm

  • Cafeteria workroom is open for artistic exhibitors from 5 to 9 pm

  • Gymnasium show floor open for exhibitors at 5 pm

   Saturday, March 27 - 7:30 am to 10:30 am

Those with children interested in participating in the Junior Division should pre-register. Artistic registration deadline is March21.
