Mosquito Control District Commission Facts
The 3-member Commission administers the mosquito control program in designated areas of the county, reviews and schedules application procedures, and provides citizen information.
County code requires that three (3) members be appointed by the Gloucester Board of Supervisors, with one being the state health commissioner or his/her designee who shall serve as chairperson. Currently, Ms. Patricia McGrath, Mr. Brian Thompson, and Dr. W. Ted Tweel, MD, the acting director of the Three Rivers Health District, serve on the commission. Mr. C. Wesley McIntyre, Jr., Director of Buildings and Grounds, is the staff liaison. Meetings are held as called. Length of Term - 4 Years.
